Dr. Lorie Hood, Founder
Dr. Hood is a Neuropsychologist, Traumatologist, Leadership Coach for the U.S. Air Force & Space Force, researcher, and performance artist who has devoted her life to understanding and healing individual and collective trauma.
She developed The Hood Group High Stakes PerformanceSM and Somatic RescriptingSM methods, which increase human focus and performance while reducing the potential for trauma and burnout.
Dr. Hood specializes in trauma and human potential, is board certified in emergency crisis response, domestic violence, and forensic traumatology (Diplomate Credential), and is a ICF certified Master Coach.

Cameron Shifflett, Researcher
Cameron is a researcher who examines the underlying mechanisms, of trauma, resilience, and creativity. He has been published in scholarly journals and resources on topics ranging from creativity and trauma in children to how authenticity and creativity can best help us thrive as human beings. Cameron is also a trained interpersonal and sexual violence prevention and intervention specialist. In addition to his research and IPV prevention work, Cameron also works with organizations to promote and cultivate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), especially with regards to the LGBTQ+ community.
When he’s not working, Cameron spends most of his time troubleshooting his cat, who has decided she is the BatCat and hangs upside down from any available surface. He has yet to foil the miniature Caped Crusader, but he intends to keep trying.
Cameron earned his B.A. in Psychology from the College of William & Mary.

Clark Sampson, Business Strategy Consultant
A generalist driven by curiosity and relentless in building what is new, Clark has a background that spans fashion, event production, and technology. He specializes in strategy and the integrations of practicality and productivity. While navigating ambiguity is exciting to him, Clark’s ultimate goal is to definitively harness and impact teams.
When Clark is not crafting and executing a blueprint, you can find him tirelessly educating his Border Collie, Lady.

Steven Tompkins, Business Strategy Consultant
Previously with the U.S. Foreign Commercial Services, Steven provided clients in-depth market analysis of the U.S. and Belgian economies, consultation on navigating trade barriers and market entry, and economic projections for proposed E.U. laws. He excelled in client business development, canvassing foreign markets for potential partners and facilitating communication.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Steven worked for the Small Business Administration (SBA), assisting small business owners in obtaining crucial Covid-19 relief loans. At the SBA, he also helped small business owners navigate the PPP program, allowing them to keep their employees on payroll.
Steven is currently a graduate student at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where he is pursuing his Masters of Science in Economics, specializing in the Economics of Growth. He received his B.A. in International Relations from the College of William & Mary.

Jules Ownby, Audio Production Intern
Jules is an investigative journalist and podcast producer from Montréal, Canada. He has produced numerous podcasts across various genres of the medium – from comedy, to sports, to documentaries. Currently covering green politics around the world for Global Green News, his main areas of interest include the politics of the Americas, issues surrounding immigration, as well as trauma and human potential.
Jules received his B.S. from McGill University.
